The Chilean miners rescued after 69 days trapped underground and their families plus four of the rescuers (and their families, too) came to WDW in January for an all-expenses paid 6-night, 7-day visit.
They also got a $500 gift card per family.
And a photo album per family.
And a "heroes' welcome".

I am very glad these guys survived their ordeal.
But heroes?
What did they do that was heroic? Survive? Survival is instinctual.
Heroism is something much more.
