Obama's Obeisance

On this 11th anniversary of September 11, 2001, let us remember:

Barack Obama, during his  Cairo speech  (June 4, 2009) , said: 

 "I know, too, that Islam has always been a part of America 's story."

and

"So let there be no doubt: Islam is a part of America."

AN AMERICAN CITIZEN'S RESPONSE:

 

Dear Mr. Obama:

Were those Muslims that were in America when the Pilgrims first landed? 

Funny, I thought they were Native American Indians.

Were those Muslims that celebrated the first Thanksgiving day? 

Sorry again, those were Pilgrims and Native American Indians.

Can you show me one Muslim signature on the United States Constitution?

The Declaration of Independence ?

The Bill of Rights?

 

Didn't think so.

 

Did Muslims fight for this country's freedom from England? 

No.

 

Did Muslims fight during the Civil War to free the slaves in America?

No, they did not.

 

In fact, Muslims to this day are still the largest traffickers in human slavery.

Your own half-brother, a devout Muslim, still advocates slavery himself, even though Muslims of Arabic descent refer to black Muslims as "pug-nosed slaves."

 

Says a lot of what the Muslim world really thinks of your family's "rich Islamic heritage," doesn't it Mr. Obama?

 

Where were Muslims during the Civil Rights era of this country?

Not present.

 

There are no pictures or media accounts of Muslims walking side by side with Martin Luther King, Jr. or helping to advance the cause of Civil Rights.

 

Where were Muslims during this country's Woman's Suffrage era? 

Again, not present.

 

In fact, devout Muslims demand that women are subservient to men in the Islamic culture. So much so, that often they are beaten for not wearing the 'hajib' or for talking to a man who is not a direct family member or their husband. 

Yep, the Muslims are all for women's rights, aren't they?

 

Where were Muslims during World War II? 

They were aligned with Adolf Hitler. The Muslim grand mufti himself met with Adolf Hitler, reviewed the troops and accepted support from the Nazi's in killing Jews.

 

Finally, Mr. Obama, where were Muslims on Sept. 11th, 2001? 

 

If they weren't flying planes into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon or a field in Pennsylvania killing nearly 3,000 people on our own soil, they were rejoicing in the Middle East .

 

No one can dispute the pictures shown from all parts of the Muslim world
celebrating on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and other cable news networks that day.

 

Strangely, the very "moderate" Muslims who's asses you bent over backwards to kiss in Cairo, Egypt on June 4th were stone cold silent post 9-11. 

 

To many Americans, their silence has meant approval for the acts of that day.

 

 

And THAT, Mr. Obama, is the "rich heritage" Muslims have here in America.

 

Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot to mention the Barbary Pirates. They were Muslim.

 

And now we can add November 5, 2009 - the slaughter of American soldiers at Fort Hood by a Muslim major who is a doctor and a psychiatrist who was supposed to be counseling soldiers returning from battle in Iraq and Afghanistan.

 

That, Mr. Obama, is the "Muslim heritage" in America.

October 12, 2000

 The U.S.S. Cole  was the target of a suicide attack carried out by Al-Qaeda terrorists in the Yemeni port of Aden.  17 U.S. sailors were killed, 39 were injured, and the ship was almost sunk.

 

April 19, 1995

 The Oklahoma City bombing was a terrorist bomb attack on the Alfred Murrah Building. The blast claimed 168 lives, including 19 children under the age of 6; more than 680 people were injured.

October 23, 1983

241 U.S. Marines and Naval personnel were killed when the U.S. headquarters in Beirut, Lebanon was struck by a truck bomb.  A French unit was also targeted. In all, 299 American and French servicemen were killed. Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility.

 To New York City last Wednesday (9/09) for a tribute to media moron Walter Cronkite; 

To New York City today (9/14) for a speech on the economy; 

But NOT to New York City on 9/11 for any of the 9/11 Memorial events held at Ground Zero. 

Go Figure.

9-11: National Day of Service

Here's another step in the transformation of America: 

 Barack Hussein Obama has signed into law a measure declaring September 11th as a "National Day of Service".

The plan is to turn a "day of fear" (that helps Republicans) into a day of activism called the National Day of Service (that helps the left). In other words, liberals are planning to drain 9/11 of all meaning.

The administration's plans were outlined in an Aug. 11 White House-sponsored teleconference call.

Groups on the call included: ACORN, AFL-CIO, Apollo Alliance, Community Action Partnership, Deep South Center for Environmental Justice, 80 Million Strong for Young American Jobs, Friends of the Earth, Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, Mobilize.org, National Black Police Association, National Coalition on Black Civic Participation, National Council of Negro Women, National Wildlife Federation, RainbowPUSH Coalition, Urban League, and Young Democrats of America.

... With the help of the Obama administration, the coalition is launching a public relations campaign under the radar of the mainstream media -- which remains almost uniformly terrified of criticizing the nation's first black president -- to try to change 9/11 from a day of reflection and remembrance to a day of activism, food banks, and community gardens.

"The organizing term is to 'go dark.'

You don't tell the press, don't tell people you think will tell the press," said the source.

... The annual commemoration of the 2001 terrorist attacks belongs to the entire nation, but President Obama and the activist left don't see it that way. They view the nationwide remembrance of the murder of 3,000 Americans by Islamic totalitarians as an obstacle to winning over the hearts and minds of the American people.

"When you criticize them, they are prepared to say, 'Did you want 9/11 to be another day of selling mattresses, like Presidents Day?" the source said. "They are truly trying to change the American mindset."

I just read this little-known and certainly unseen-on-MSM 9-11 story over on BlackFive:

Wolf- Just came from the memorial ceremony here at NORTHCOM. LTC (CH) Robert Leivers led the group in a ceremony here at the headquarters. During the ceremony, he relayed this little-known story from the Pentagon on 9/11:

"During a visit with a fellow chaplain, who happened to be assigned to the Pentagon, I had a chance to hear a first-hand account of an incident that happened right after Flt 77 hit the Pentagon.

The Chaplain told me what happened at a daycare center near where the impact occurred.

"This daycare had many children, including infants who were in heavy cribs. The daycare supervisor, looking at all the children they needed to evacuate, was in a panic over what they could do; there were many children, mostly toddlers, as well as the infants that would need to be taken out with the cribs. There was no time to try to bundle them into carriers and strollers.

"Just then a young Marine came running into the center and asked what they needed. After hearing what the center director was trying to do, he ran back out into the hallway and disappeared. The director thought, 'well, there we are- on our own.'

About 2 minutes later, that Marine returned with 40 others in tow. Each of them grabbed a crib with a child, and the rest started gathering up toddlers. The director and her staff then helped them take all the children out of the center and down toward the park near the Potomac and the Pentagon.

"Once they got about 3/4 of a mile outside the building, the Marines stopped in the park, and then did a fabulous thing- they formed a circle with the cribs, which were quite sturdy and heavy, like the covered wagons in the West. Inside this circle of cribs, they put the toddlers, to keep them from wandering off.

Outside this circle were the 40 Marines, forming a perimeter around the children and waiting for instructions. There they remained until the parents could be notified and come get their children."

Not Forgotten: September 11, 2001

The mass murder of 3,000 innocent people on American soil was a declaration of war by an insidious enemy determined on destroying our society, our culture, and all those of us who resist.

They'd like nothing better than for our memories to fade.
Which they have.

They are depending on our divisiveness.
Which we are.

They are counting on us being hopeful of some diplomatic "solution."
Which some deluded politicians are.

They are infiltrating our country while they plot and prepare their next assaults, likely far worse than the ones they have already committed.

I remember the images of the planes being flown into the WTC towers and imagining the horror of the people on the planes and those in the towers.

I remember the images of people jumping from the Twin Towers — head first, feet first, solo, hand-in-hand, to escape the inferno of burning jet fuel. What an absolutely unimaginable choice that must have been.

I remember watching the towers collapse and then seeing that nightmare cloud of dust, filled with god knows what, billowing down the street between buildings, overtaking people. It was like something out of a Sci-Fi movie. Only this was not fiction.

I remember the images of the Pentagon, on fire, walls collapsing.

I remember the image of the aircraft outline burned into the Pennsylvania field and thinking that if anything ever deserved a Hollywood ending, Flight 93 did. But this was real life with real people, and the ending was all too real.

I remember how our enemies cheered.

I remember how Americans came together, political ideologies forgotten (except for the lunatic fringe).

I remember how patriotism became a good thing again and how our military was truly supported.

Americans have notoriously short memories.
But our enemies do not.

They are watching and paying attention; when a politician declares that the war on terror is just a 'bumper sticker', they are listening.

Make no mistake, we are at war, and will be at war for a long time. We are facing enemies who seethe with hatred for America and our way of life, and these enemies are willing to die to bring death and destruction to America.

Despite anti-war rhetoric, the war in Iraq is a part of the overall war on terrorism. It is a war we must win; if we fail to prevail, we will sooner or later be fighting them in America.

We are in a battle to the death, ours or theirs.

Let's make it theirs.
