Political Correctness Run Amuck

Apparently a bunch of adult educators  social progressive agents became freaked out over a 5-year-old "terrorist" who "threatened" to shoot another child with her Hello Kitty gun... that shoots bubbles.

Girl-5 suspended for threat to shoot

Mount Carmel Area School District officials said the girl made the threat on Jan. 10 as she waited for a school bus with friends. A school official overheard the remark and searched the girl's backpack and did not find the Hello Kitty gun.
The next day, the girls involved were 'interrogated' by school officials (WITHOUT parents being present).

By the time the girl was finished speaking to administrators about the incident, she was crying. A teacher called out the girl in front of her class and told her police may get involved.

Are you freaking kidding me?

There are so many things WRONG here I don't know where to begin.

_The backpack search.

_The interrogation.  (With parents it would have been horrible, without parents it is criminal.) I wonder how many adults it took to question a 5-year-old child.

_The teacher. Excuse me, social progressive agent. What a wonderful example of a human being.

_The suspension.

I reckon the child should be glad she wasn't hauled off to juvenile hall or county lock-up.

I hope her parents sue the county, the principal, the teacher social progressive agent, and anybody else who participated in this shameful farce.

Our People, Our Future, Whatever

The theme for Barack Hussein Obama's presidential inauguration was:

 "Our People, Our Future"

Americans are still dying in Afghanistan;  Americans are out of work;  America is on the fiscal cliff;  America's healthcare system is going to be ruined by Obamacare;  Political correctness is ruining the country;  Politicians, elected to represent the people, aren't listening to them.

Is this our Future?

And it's more than voting "Present".

Thought for the Tax-Paying Americans

I wonder how many of the Congressional millionaires, Like Darrell, John Kerry, and Nancy Pelosi, will be paying their fair share of taxes.

Hopefully they did not miss Joe Biden's memo:

“Wealthy people are just as patriotic as middle-class people, as poor people, and they know they should be doing more. We’re not supposed to have a system with one set of rules for the wealthy and one set of rules for everyone else.”

Perfectly Put

This was apparently written in 2010, but it is every bit as (if not more so) fitting today. This quote came from the Czech Republic .

Someone over there has it figured out.
It was translated into English from an article in the Prague newspaper Prager Zeitungon.
The danger to America is not Barrack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.

It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president.

The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince.

The Republic can survive a Barrack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool.

It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their president.

Owebummer Strikes Again

The White House Dossier:

Obama Returns to Hawaii ...

at an Added Cost of Over $3 Million

by Keith Koffler on January 2, 2013:
In a move that is rich in irony, President Obama agreed Tuesday night to sign an emergency deficit reduction bill that does almost nothing to rein in spending and then jetted out to Hawaii to resume his vacation at an extra cost of more than $3 million to taxpayers.

The price tag is in addition to more than $4 million that is already being spent on the Obamas’ Hawaii idyll, bringing the total cost of the excursion to well over $7 million.

The added cost was incurred because by the time the Obamas return from Hawaii – whenever that is – the president will have used Air Force One to travel to Honolulu and back twice.

Obama was forced to return from Hawaii just after Christmas to complete negotiations to avoid the Fiscal Cliff, talks resulting in the bill that was passed by Congress last night. Obama resisted significant spending cuts throughout the negotiations, and the final legislation relies almost solely on new taxes to reduce the deficit.

Air Force One is known to cost about $180,000 an hour to fly. Based on an estimated 18 hours round-trip flying time for the jet between Washington and Honolulu, the travel cost alone of Obama’s decision to return to Hawaii amounts to around $3.24 million. And that doesn’t include the price tag for the massive security operation required to move the president or the cost of the cargo plane that follows Air Force One around.

The Obamas could have saved taxpayers millions by returning from Hawaii together after Christmas and then resuming their vacation at one of the many ritzy resorts that lie outside of Washington. If the beach is a must, even a trip to Florida would have been far less expensive.

Or they could have simply stayed at the White House or Camp David, each a luxurious government-run installation, billing taxpayers a relative pittance.

Here's a question:

Did the Obamas spend holiday vacations in Hawaii when he was a US Senator (2005-2008)?   A State Senator (1996-2004)? ...

Here's a very interesting book to read:

$16,432,706,000,000.00

That's:
16 trillion, 432 billion, 706 million dollars

that this country, the USA, is in debt.

And yet, Congress, the people we elect to represent us, has just passed fiscal legislation that includes about $76 billion worth of special-interest-tax-breaks for you and me  Hollywood, Puerto Rico rum producers, the alternative energy industry and other special interests.

The same idiots morons lawmakers are now lambasting the decision to add all the goodies at the last minute.

So why pass it, you lawmakers idiots, morons?

I dunno if the  $9.7-billion-'Sandy'-bill  the new US Congress has passed  to help pay flood insurance claims is included in the $16 Trillion+ figure, but I'm guessing not..

And yes, I remember back in 2008  when Obummer promised

NO MORE PORK

Yeah, Right.

2013: Year of the Snake

According to the Chinese Zodiac, the Year of 2013 is the Year of the Snake, which begins on February 10, 2013 and ends on January 30, 2014.

The Snake is the sixth sign of the Chinese Zodiac, which consists of 12 Animal Signs.  It is the most enigmatic, intuitive, introspective, refined and collected of the Animal Signs.

The Cosmic element of the year is Water, characterized with mobility, dynamism, and changeability, and the color is black.

So, the talisman of 2013 is a Black Water Snake.

The Black Snake will bring people unexpected changes, instability, and changeability. That is why it is important in the Year of the Snake to plan everything beforehand, and evaluate adequately before taking any actions. You need to be more careful and cautious than ever.

And this is a year of the Water Snake - all things will be possible.  Saving money and being thrifty and controlling spending should be your top priorities.

Delusion and deception are common in the year of water Snake.

Stay alert!
