Obummer's Magical Misery Tour

Barack Hussein Obama, Campaigner-in-Chief, is getting out of town.

Is it because of his new, lowest-ever, approval ratings?
According to the WH, it's to promote jobs and economic growth.

Obummer began a re-election campaign tour of the Midwest by bus funded by the American taxpayer.

The tour will cover locations where Republican contenders for his job recently ran rampant in Iowa. It will also avoid inner city areas.

Read more:

I love this part:  "With Americans showing historic levels of frustration with Washington, the president will try to feel their pain."

Will "TRY" to feel their pain.

BTW: the armored bus cost the American taxpayer an estimated $1.1 million plus and was made in Canada by Canadians. So much for promoting jobs for Americans.

"One More Thing"

In a speech about the economy yesterday, Barack Hussein Obama attempted to reassure Americans by stating that he and Warren Buffett think we should have an impeccable credit rating.

Well, that just makes all the difference, eh?

The Dow was being shown at the same time. The more Obummer talked, the lower it went.

And then, as if it were an afterthought, Obummer says, "One more thing..."

... and mentions the courage and sacrifice of the 30 American
military personnel killed in the deadliest day for Americans in Afghanistan.

As Commander-in-Chief THAT should have been the first and only thing to come out of his mouth.

Thought for the Day

"The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be  tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt.  People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance."

Who is the genius that came up with this?
A T.E.A. Party member?
Hell no.

It was:   Cicero  in  55 B.C.

News Black-Out

We're not hearing about this on the national news, are we:

Wisconsin State Fair Attacks

Here's a more colorful description:

Witnesses Describe Mob:Racially-Charged Attacks

State Fair Melee

Had certain specifics been reversed, all the major mass media would have been screaming Hate Crime, but apparently that term is applicable only in certain instances.

Harry Reid: Blithering Idiot

On July 29th, Senator Harry Reid (Dummycrat/NV) brought blithering idiotness to new heights / new lows / whatever.

After the senate tabled the Boehner Bill, Harry "PINKY"  Reid urged Congress to "accept my bill" and said it was "time to come together and compromise"

Compromise = accepting his bill.

'Fraid not.

Hanoi Jane

Jane Fonda is upset.
"I was to have been on QVC today to introduce my book, “Prime Time”, about aging and the life cycle. The network said they got a lot of calls yesterday criticizing me for my opposition to the Vietnam War and threatening to boycott the show if I was allowed to appear. I am, to say the least, deeply disappointed that QVC caved to this kind of insane pressure by some well funded and organized political extremist groups.
snip ... "Bottom line, this has gone on far too long, this spreading of lies about me! None of it is true. NONE OF IT! I love my country. I have never done anything to hurt my country or the men and women who have fought and continue to fight for us."

Well, Ms Fonda, the membership of the 'extremist groups' that you mention are no doubt made up of those of us who remember how you went to North Vietnam in 1972  and cavorted with an NVA anti-aircraft gun crew, the very same guns that shot down American planes; how you also participated in a staged press conference with unwilling American POWs, the purpose of which was to "prove" that American prisoners weren't being mistreated by their Viet Cong captors. Years afterward, when the then-released POWs described the very real torture and degradation they had suffered at the hands of the North Vietnamese, you dismissed them as "hypocrites and liars."

Yes, Ms Fonda, you certainly have first-hand personal knowledge of hypocrites. You define the word.

And as far as "far right lies", here's a picture of you sitting on the damn gun surrounded by North Vietnamese soldiers (aka the enemy).

And you have apparently forgotten about the documentary about a political troupe headed by yourself and Donald Sutherland which traveled to towns near military bases in the US in the early 1970s, putting on shows called “F.T.A.”, which stood for “F**k the Army”, aimed at convincing soldiers to voice their opposition to the Vietnam War, which was raging at the time.

But you never did "anything to hurt my country or the men and women who have fought and continue to fight for us."

(epithet deleted)

This ain't hell: Jane Fonda is mad at history
