#1 January: Biden celebrated the new year in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Despite budget cuts, and a decision to cancel White House tours in order to save the Secret Service money, the vacation schedules of those the Service protects do not appear to have been hampered.

I wonder how many of the Congressional millionaires, Like Darrell, John Kerry, and Nancy Pelosi, will be paying their fair share of taxes.

Hypocritical Hypocrites

After the horrific event in Sandy Hook, CT, on December 14th
the National Rifle Association (NRA) president Wayne LaPierre publicly advocated that there be armed security at every school.

DLP  (Dummycrats, Liberals and Progressives) and the liberal MSM said that he was a, "raving lunatic who is just as dangerous as Adam Lanza."

Today, the same elite media who no doubt send their own kids to private schools that employ armed security, just can't stop howling ridicule at the NRA's idea to give every student in America those same protections. Because the NRA's idea is so appealing, as I write this, the media's going overboard, mocking it as bizarre, crazy, and out of touch.

In their zeal to rampage this left-wing agenda, the media has apparently forgotten that back in 2000, on the one-year anniversary of the Columbine shooting (which occurred with an assault weapons ban in place), President Clinton requested $60 million in federal money to fund a fifth round of funding for a program called "COPS in School," a program that does exactly what the NRA is proposing and the media is currently in overdrive mocking....

I do believe that Democrat, Liberal, Progressive, Media could be added to the list of synonyms for Hypocrite.

Remember the Barack Hussein Obama Health care bill and how Nancy Pelosi told us, "We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what's in it"?

Well, now the village idiot aka VP Joe Biden, speaking about the financial reform bill, has said, "The heavy lifting is over, now we can go out and make our case."

Isn't this backward? 

Shouldn't the case have been made before passing this (or any other) resolution?

This is just another example of how the Barack Hussein Obama administration and the dummycrat-controlled Congress cram things down our throats and then try to make it palatable to the people they supposedly work for.

Unintentional Humor

Heard on the news:

A man got within several feet of Joe Biden who was sitting in a security-protected VIP section at the Vancouver Olympics.

Apparently he just wanted to meet Joe Biden.

The man has been taken to a psychiatric facility for evaluation.

How ... um ... er ... Appropriate? Hysterical? ...  is that!!

Joe Biden: Gaffe-tastic

This clown / jerk / joke is next in line to be President.

President Obama is so "distracted by his vice president's indiscipline" that he has been forced to rebuke privately Vice President Joe Biden, according to a new book by Newsweek journalist Richard Wolffe, who interviewed Obama a dozen times.

"He can't keep his mouth shut," Wolffe quotes a "senior Obama aide" as saying of the gaffe-prone Biden in "Renegade: The Making of a President".

There was a joke going around that Biden is Obama's 'insurance policy'. 

 

Maybe that's not such a joke after all.

As a presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama criticized Congressional "earmarks"; he promised to reform the way Congressional bills are written.But.

As president, it was "crucial" for him to sign the $410 Billion bill - loaded with 8,816 earmarks worth $7.7 billion.

BTW, this bill was largely written last year but was held back because President George W. Bush opposed it.

And, just so you know:

Notable among them (the earmarks) are $155.9 million worth of projects that six members of the Obama administration who were members of Congress last year, when the bill was originally written, inserted into the bill.

Top among them was Vice President Joe Biden. As a senator from Delaware, Biden added 56 earmarks that cost a total of $52.1 million, including $13.7 million for the Intracoastal Waterway from the Delaware River to the Chesapeake Bay and $190,000 to help build a children's museum in Wilmington;

— White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, who as a House member from Illinois, added 16 earmarks worth about $8.3 million, including money for a Chicago planetarium and suburban children's museum.

— Interior Secretary Ken Salazar, formerly a Democratic senator from Colorado, $44.6 million;

— Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, formerly a Republican congressman from Illinois, $26.5 million;

— Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, formerly a Democratic House member from California, $15.5 million;

— Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, formerly a Democratic senator from New York, $6.7 million;

The White House has pledged to send legislation to Congress seeking the rescission of all earmarks sponsored by current members of the Obama administration.
