Thought for the Day

I Am a ~Politically Incorrect~ American

Whoever wrote this said it better than I ever could.

It was posted ....well,  check the end of the post, you may be surprised.

I'm an American

I am sick of "Political Correctness".

I know a lot of black people, and not one of them was born in Africa; so how can they be "African-Americans"?

I don't go around saying I am Irish-American because my great-great grandfather was from Ireland. I am proud to be from America and nowhere else!

I don't believe being a minority makes you noble or victimized nor entitles you to anything.

I don't believe that I have to be tolerant of others because they are different or weird or stupid.

I believe that reparations for slavery is nonsense.  One injustice (slavery) cannot be corrected by another injustice (taking money from an innocent party).   I've never owned a slave, and a large percentage of our forefathers didn't own one either. Please stop blaming me because 100 years ago some white (and black) people did. And remember, lots of white, Indian, Chinese, and other races have been enslaved, too.

I believe that truly discriminatory are things like the United Negro College Fund, Jet Magazine, Black Entertainment Television, Black Student Unions, and Miss Black America. Try to have things like the United Caucasian College Fund, Cloud Magazine, White Entertainment Television, White Student Unions, or Miss White America, and see what happens. Brothers Al and Jesse will be knocking down your door.

I believe that it takes a parent, NOT a village, to raise a child; and that parents should tell their kids NO sometimes and mean it.

I believe an occasional swat on the bottom is not necessarily a bad thing.

I don't believe that your two-year old has the same rights that I do, no matter what Hillary thinks.

I don't believe in teaching down to the lowest denominator; children who can't or won't learn will be left behind.

I believe that programs for intellectually gifted children should be better funded than programs for 'special-needs' children.

I believe that state colleges/universities who will not allow military recruiters on campus should not receive one more cent of federal money.

The same goes for state colleges/universities who do not offer a politically balanced curriculum.

I don't believe that college makes you a necessarily better, smarter, or more enlightened person.

I believe that all veterans should be given all the educational benefits to which they are entitled.

I believe the Dream Act which allows illegal aliens to attend college at the reduced tuition rates normally reserved for in-state legal residents should be abolished.

I believe that religious characters who preach politics from the pulpit should be informed that since they apparently do not recognize the separation of church and state, their organizations will begin paying income tax.

I want to know where is it exactly that the Reverend Jesse Jackson practices, where he gets his money, and why he is always part of the problem and not the solution.

I believe everyone has a right to pray to their God or gods, while I pray that the test results come back negative.

I don't celebrate Kwanzaa. But if you want to that's fine; just don't feel like everyone else should.

"Anybody who wants religion is welcome to it, I support your right to enjoy it. However, I would appreciate it if you exhibited more respect for the rights of those people who do not wish to share your dogma, rapture or necrodestination."  (Frank Zappa)

I believe that calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented worker' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

Our soldiers, sailors and Marines did not go to some foreign country and risk their lives in wars to defend others' freedom so that decades later you can tell me our Constitution is an ever-changing living document and is open to interpretation.

I believe that the liberal interpretation of the 14th amendment needs to stop right now. No more anchor-babies.

I believe that the cities, states, churches, schools, etc. who defy federal law and call themselves 'sanctuaries' should not get one more penny of federal money. And the mayors, councilmen, governors, etc of those cities should pay fines or face charges or both.

I believe that if you are an American citizen you should speak English. Americans didn't die in foreign lands so that you can leave the countries you were born in to come disrespect ours. Get over it. Assimilate or go home.

I believe that we should enforce the laws we already have before making more of the same.

I don't believe in hate crime legislation. You're telling me that someone who is a minority, gay, disabled, another nationality, or otherwise different from the mainstream of this country has more value as a human being that I do as a middle-class white heterosexual female?

I think the cops have every right to shoot your after they tell you to stop and you run. If you can't understand the word 'freeze' or 'stop' in English, see above.

I also think they have the right to pull your ass over if you're breaking the law, regardless of your color, religion, or profession.

I believe in some cases murderers should be executed by the same method as they used. Eye for an eye and all that.

John Couey comes to mind. He should be buried alive in a plastic garbage bag after having a 4 foot stick shoved up his butt.

I believe that judges should be held to some sort of accountability.

I believe that the 9th ward of New Orleans should be declared a permanent disaster area, fenced off, and bulldozed.

I believe that those Hurricane Katrina 'victims' who have not gotten on with their life by now, should do so.

I don't believe anyone ever died because of something Ozzy Osbourne, Ice-T or Marilyn Manson sang, but that doesn't mean I want to listen to that crap from someone else's car when I'm stopped at a red light.

Any legally-qualified American should be allowed to own a gun, but if you use it in a crime, then you will serve the time.  Owning a gun doesn't make you a killer any more than owning a garage makes you a car.  You can kill someone with a baseball bat or a car, but no one is trying to ban you from driving to the ball game.  Ted Kennedy's Oldsmobile has killed more people than my gun.

I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some government program that wants to give it away to crack addicts squirting out babies.

I think Bill Gates has every right to keep on making money. If you don't like that, then you invent the next operating system that's better and put your name on the building.

I do not believe that alcoholism is a disease. That's merely a convenient designation so that insurance companies will foot the bill for rehab programs.

Despite what Hillary Clinton thinks, I do not believe that people who use drugs suffer from a disability and do not have the right to employment in the White House.

I believe that a dog is a dog, no matter how you dress it up.

I have mourned a dead guinea pig but I never kissed it on the lips nor let it eat from my plate.

I don't believe that we were wrong to save millions of lives (NBF: American AND Japanese) by dropping "the bomb" on Japan.

I worry about dying before I get even.

I believe that "You can't wave a 'peace sign' at me while our bravest young men and women are in armed conflict with crazed zealots determined to wipe us off the face of the earth, and call it patriotism." (Pat Boone)

I believe that the war on terror should be fought without regard to the ACLU, the New York Times, and the Democrats.

I believe that John Kerry and Jane Fonda should have been charged with treason and/or sedition for their blatantly unAmerican activities regarding the Vietnam War.

I believe that we stand little chance of waging a politically correct war and winning — not against an enemy that believes that Allah has ordered him to fight to the death, to purposely target women and children, and to torture and behead everyone who disagrees.

I believe that way too much media attention is given to ditzy, dipwad celebrities who have nothing to offer except bleached-white bright smiles, $400 haircuts and plastic boobs.  But on the other hand, thanks to the aforementioned media we know what big idiots Sean Penn and Danny Glover are.

I believe that Danny Glover should go live in Caracas, Sean Penn in Havana, and Michael Moore anywhere but here.

I believe that the United Nations is a worthless organization and that the building at 1st Ave & E 44th St, New York, NY 10017, should be vacated and used as a Veterans' Home.

I believe that 99.9% of all politicians are two-faced, back-stabbing, self-serving liars.

I believe a self-righteous liberal with a cause is more dangerous than a Hell's Angel with an attitude.

I know how to count votes and I feel much safer letting a machine with no political affiliation do a recount when needed.

I think if you are too stupid to know how a ballot works, I don't want you deciding who should be running the most powerful nation in the world for the next four years.

I believe that the Electoral College should be abolished.    (NBF: UM, No)

I believe that the definition of 'irony' is that Bill Clinton got $12 million for his memoirs and Hillary got $8 million for hers.

That's $20 million for two people who for eight years repeatedly testified they couldn't remember anything.

I believe that Hillary Clinton is a socialist no matter how many times she reinvents herself.

I believe that the greatest tragedy of the 20th century is that Bill Clinton's name isn't on the Wall.

I believe that our country is being taken down the path to 2nd world status by the CONGRESS, the liberal-biased MEDIA, and Political Correctness.

I will not be frowned upon or be looked down upon or be made to keep silent because I have these beliefs and opinions. I thought this country allowed me that right. I will not conform or compromise just to keep from hurting somebody's feelings. I'm neither angry nor disenfranchised, no matter how desperately the mainstream media would like the world to believe otherwise.

Yes, I guess by some people's definition, I may be Politically Incorrect..

Tough.

Fallen Hero: Sgt Wade Wilson, USMC

Marine Sergeant Wade Wilson
age 22,  of Texas was killed during combat May 11th while on duty in Helmand Province Afghanistan.

We're told his actions saved two fellow Marines.

During the memorial State Senator Steve Ogden and Representative Marva Beck presented the family with a flag that had flown on top of the State Capitol in the Marine's memory.

Sergeant Wade Wilson joined the Marines at the age of 17 and was on his second tour of duty in Afghanistan.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the "Sgt. Wade Daniel Wilson Scholarship Fund," set up at Citizens State Bank in Buffalo and Centerville or any Wells Fargo location.

**** Now, I'm not a big worshipper of 'celebrity', but sometimes these folks do something that does deserve recognition:

Taylor Swift offered condolences to the family of a Marine killed in action by sending flowers to his home and calling his parents.
The country singer reached out to the family of Sgt. Wade Wilson after his best friend Cpl Josh Marreel posted a YouTube video asking Swift to think of Wilson, who was a huge fan of her music.

Requiescat in Pace, Marine

The O'mateur

"The Amateur", an unauthorized biography of Barack Hussein Obama, written by Edward Klein, is coming out on May 15th.

Obviously, I have not read the book yet, but certainly, absolutely will.

According to book excerpts, Bubba Clinton said "Barack Obama is an amateur" and he "doesn't know how to be president" and is "incompetent".

I never thought I would agree with anything spewing forth from Bubba Clinton, but Yowza.

And, wait, there's more:

Edward Klein also interviewed Barack Hussein Obama’s former physician, Dr. David Scheiner, MD, (a liberal, BTW) who "fears" the president’s health care plan will be a failure and says that President Obama has an “academic detachment” that he could never break through.

In the chapter titled, “Hollow at the Core,” calls Obama uncaring, and perhaps worse, incompetent.

'Splain This, Please!

Somebody has some 'splainin' to do!

We went to war with Iraq because Saddam had WMDs.

Yes, he had some, he used them on the Kurds. And besides, our know-it-all politicians said so .....

"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line."
-- President Bill Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."
-- President Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983."
-- Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998

"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."
Letter to President Clinton, signed by:
-- Democratic Senators Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, and others, Oct. 9, 1998

"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country."
-- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

"Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power."
-- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction."
-- Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002

"There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years ... We also should remember we have always underestimated the progress Saddam has made in development of weapons of mass destruction."
-- Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D, WV), Oct 10, 2002

We went to war with Iraq because Saddam got belligerent over giving them - and his tyrannical rule over Iraq - up.

But did Saddam ever threaten to use them directly on us?

Well ...

North Korean maniac Kim and Iranian maniac Ahmadinejad are developing nukes at an ever increasing rate and they ARE threatening to use them on us.

So, why aren't we negating this threat?
And no, going to the UN doesn't count.
