Put Me in Charge

Forwarded to me, author unknown, but obviously a Visionary:

Put me in charge of food stamps.
I'd get rid of food stamp cards; no cash for Ding Dongs or Ho Hos; just money for 50-pound bags of rice and beans, blocks of cheese and all the powdered milk you can haul away.

If you want steak and frozen pizza, get a job.

Put me in charge of Medicaid.
The first thing I'd do is to get women Norplant birth control implants or tubal ligations. Or Vasectomies for men!

Then, we'll test recipients for drugs, alcohol, and nicotine and document all tattoos and piercings.

If you want to reproduce or use drugs, alcohol, smoke or get tats and piercings, get a job.

Put me in charge of government housing.
Ever live in a military barracks?
"You will maintain our property in a clean and good state of repair."

Your "home" will be subject to inspections anytime and possessions will be inventoried.

If you want a plasma TV or Xbox 360, get a job and your own place.

In addition, you will either present a check stub from a job each week or you will report to a "government" job. It may be cleaning the roadways of trash, painting and repairing public housing, whatever we find for you. We will sell your 22-inch rims and low profile tires and your blasting stereo and speakers and put that money toward the “common good..”

Before you write that I've violated someone's rights, realize that all of the above is voluntary.

If you want our money, accept our rules.

Before you say that this would be "demeaning" and ruin their "self esteem", consider that it wasn't that long ago that taking someone else's money for doing absolutely nothing was demeaning and lowered self esteem.

If we are expected to pay for other people's mistakes we should at least attempt to make them learn from their bad choices. The current system rewards them for continuing to make bad choices.

AND While you are on Government subsistence, you no longer can VOTE!
Yes that is correct.

For you to vote would be a conflict of interest.
You will voluntarily remove yourself from voting while you are receiving a Government welfare check.

If you want to vote, then get a job.

Recall This?

Remember those recall elections on August 9th in six Wisconsin districts, where six Republican state senators (nearly a third) were basically targeted by labor unions and the Left spent a reported $30 million?

Voter Turnout was high: 63%

Four of the six Republican senators held onto their seats, and the Republicans retained the majority in the state senate.

Before the election: the Mainstream Media was all over the story.

After the election: the air time spent: CBS- 1 minute 55 seconds; NBC-  45 seconds; and ABC- 0 time.

Is this the new American way?

Lest We Forget

Obummer's Magical Misery Tour

Barack Hussein Obama, Campaigner-in-Chief, is getting out of town.

Is it because of his new, lowest-ever, approval ratings?

According to the WH, it's to promote jobs and economic growth.

Obummer began a re-election campaign tour of the Midwest by bus funded by the American taxpayer.

The tour will cover locations where Republican contenders for his job recently ran rampant in Iowa.

It will also avoid inner city areas.

I love this part:  "With Americans showing historic levels of frustration with Washington, the president will try to feel their pain."

Will "TRY" to feel their pain.

BTW: the armored bus cost the American taxpayer an estimated $1.1 million plus and was made in Canada by Canadians.

So much for promoting jobs for Americans.

"One More Thing"

In a speech about the economy yesterday, Barack Hussein Obama attempted to reassure Americans by stating that he and Warren Buffett think we should have an impeccable credit rating.

Well, that just makes all the difference, eh?

The Dow was being shown at the same time. The more Obummer talked, the lower it went.

And then, as if it were an afterthought, Obummer says, "One more thing..."

... and mentions the courage and sacrifice of the 30 American
military personnel killed in the deadliest day for Americans in Afghanistan.

As Commander-in-Chief THAT should have been the first and only thing to come out of his mouth.

Thought for the Day

"The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be  tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt.  People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance."

Who is the genius that came up with this?
Mitt?
No.
Michelle?
No.
A T.E.A. Party member?
No.
Obummer?
Hell no.

News Black-Out

We're not hearing about this on the national news, are we:

Here's a more colorful description:

Had certain specifics been reversed, all the major mass media would have been screaming Hate Crime, but apparently that term is applicable only in certain instances.
