Hillary and Funny Money, Part $$$

Hillary REALLY, REALLY wants to be president.
So much so that she's giving back money, a lot of it, to avoid yet another Clinton scandal -
$850,000 raised by Democratic fundraiser Norman Hsu, one of her top fundraisers.

Hillary had previously planned to give only $23,000 to charity, but since the FBI is now investigating Hsu for allegedly violating election laws, the campaign
will now return a much larger wad of the funny money.

Hsu, regarded as a top party fundraiser, has raised and donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Democratic Party groups and federal candidates since 2004. ... until recent reports surfaced that he was wanted on a warrant in California in connection with a 1991 grand theft charge, and may be looking at other federal charges. (Oops!)

The Clinton spin machine goes into overdrive.
The Clinton campaign has announced it will vigorously review its fundraisers, including thorough criminal background checks, in the future.

Hillary's campaign has never bothered to check where the money was coming from before...

Ms Clinton "simply didn't want to have to keep answering questions about a bundler whose background is now clearly in question," a senior adviser said, speaking only on condition of
anonymity.

Aha!
Hillary wasn't concerned about the origin of the money, she just didn't want the inconvenience of
explaining=denying=lying.
