The media trend nowadays is to refer to some politicians as rock star politicians.
It has to do, I guess, with their popularity, their ability to attract a crowd.
The term almost always precedes any mention of The Clintons
- both Bubba
and the Beast,
and Barky Obama,
though not Joe Biden nor John McCain.
Some words I associate with rock star: arrogant, temperamental, self-indulgent, ego-maniacal.Do any of these sound like they could be applied to Hilly, Billy and Barky?
Quite frankly, I would rather have people elected to make laws, to face off with Putin and fight (fight, not negotiate) terrorism be described as: capable, competent, trustworthy, honest.
But that's just my opinion.
