Hypocritical Hypocrites

After the horrific event in Sandy Hook, CT, on December 14th
the National Rifle Association (NRA) president Wayne LaPierre publicly advocated that there be armed security at every school.

DLP  (Dummycrats, Liberals and Progressives) and the liberal MSM said that he was a, "raving lunatic who is just as dangerous as Adam Lanza."

Apparently, the DLP and MSM have overlooked this:

Barack Hussein Obama's children attend a school where there are 11 armed guards with fully automatic assault rifles:

  Obama's Daughters School Has 11 Armed Guards-Not-Counting-Secret-Service

Yet Obummer remains skeptical/hypocritical:

and is even tasking Vice President Joe Biden with spearheading the effort:

Oh, but wait a minute.

Is this the SAME Joe Biden, gun-owner:

Maybe Obummer should get ex-pres Bubba Clinton involved.

Ummm wait. There could be a conflict of interest there:

By John Nolte:
Today, the same elite media who no doubt send their own kids to private schools that employ armed security, just can't stop howling ridicule at the NRA's idea to give every student in America those same protections. Because the NRA's idea is so appealing, as I write this, the media's going overboard, mocking it as bizarre, crazy, and out of touch.

In their zeal to rampage this left-wing agenda, the media has apparently forgotten that back in 2000, on the one-year anniversary of the Columbine shooting (which occurred with an assault weapons ban in place), President Clinton requested $60 million in federal money to fund a fifth round of funding for a program called "COPS in School," a program that does exactly what the NRA is proposing and the media is currently in overdrive mocking....

Hypocrite
1. a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, especially a person whose actions belie stated beliefs.

2. a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, especially one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements.

deceiver, dissembler, pretender, pharisee.

I do believe that Democrat, Liberal, Progressive, Media could be added to the list of synonyms for Hypocrite.

A Lesson in Irony

The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is proud to be distributing the greatest amount of free meals and food stamps ever, to 46 million people.

Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us "Please Do Not Feed the Animals."

Their stated reason for the policy is because the animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves.
This ends today's lesson.

This was forwarded to me, author unknown.

How Low Can You Go

For some low-life @ssh*les, pretty damn low:

A Sacramento group that sends out hundreds of Christmas care packages to America's troops serving abroad has fallen victim to a Grinch.

Dec. 17 was the cut-off day for Move America Forward to get 350 care packages to the post office with the guarantee they'd be there by Christmas. As the boxes sat in a trailer Dec. 16, waiting to be shipped the next day, some Christmas ne'er do well broke the trailer's lock and stole 25 of the packages, all of them intended for soldiers in Afghanistan.
Scott Raab, outreach coordinator for Move America Forward, said the contents of the boxes were probably worth around $5,000, but the cost isn't the issue. The care packages were intended to give soldiers a reminder of the comforts of home, he said. And, since the boxes were all individually addressed, there will be 25 soldiers going without this year.
"We pack pretty much everything in there," Raab told ABCnews.com, "deodorant, coffee, candy. But also notes from school kids here at home thanking them for their service, Christmas cards, everything we can."

Raab, who is himself a veteran of the U.S. Navy, said the packages really mean a lot to soldiers serving overseas who miss the creature comforts we take for granted at home.

"This can mean the whole world to these troops. We send packages year-round, but during the holidays it's even more special. And we get some of the packages out to specific soldiers whose family is not able, for whatever reason, to send them anything."

The packages were all clearly marked for military personnel and contain literature about Move America Forward, Raab said, so whoever the culprit is knows precisely who they've stolen from.

Raab is working with various organizations and accepting donations through MoveAmericaForward.org to replace the stolen items and help ensure the soldiers whose packages were stolen get their Christmas gifts, even if they are a few days late.

Though disappointed, Raab said he remains confident his organization will get all the losses covered.

"These people are the definition of a Grinch," he said, "it is disheartening for those of us who worked so hard to get all these Christmas packages together. But we've had an overwhelming response from people wanting to help out and it just shows how much support there is out there for our troops."
Alex comments:  If you find the thieves send them to Afghanistan for a tour.

Right on.

Charlie Crist: R / I / D

Charlie Crist, former politician, former governor, former U.S. Senate candidate, former Republican, former Independent, is now a Dummycrat.

Charlie quit his job as Governor of Florida after serving one term to run for the U.S. Senate as a Republican.

When he didn't win the primary, he ran as an Independent.

That didn't work either.

But now Charlie is officially a Dummycrat and the expectation is that he will run for governor in 2014. And he just might take the job away from Rick Scott, whose favorability ratings have remained low since taking office.

And he does have 'friends' in high places: Charlie spoke at the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, that nominated Barack Hussein Obama for a second term and campaigned for his re-election.
And some folks would vote for Charlie because Obummer says so.

What comes after Republican / Independent / Dummycrat... you know, in case this doesn't work either?  The R/I/D party?  Now there's an idea.  Let's R/I/D ourselves of multiple political parties.  And fickle politicians.

"Charlie Crist's first official act as a Democrat was to tell a lie about why he is now pretending to be one," the Florida GOP said in a statement early Saturday. "The truth is that this self-professed, Ronald-Reagan Republican only abandoned his pro-life, pro-gun, conservative principles in 2010 after he realized that Republicans didn't want to send him to Washington D.C. as a senator, especially after he proved he couldn't do the job as governor."

Word For the Day: Purported

Time to Vote

Recession is when your neighbor loses his job.

Depression is when you lose yours.

And Recovery is when Barack Hussein Obama loses his.

This is Unacceptable

More than anyone else, the men and women who serve their country in uniform deserve the chance to vote for the person whose orders they follow

whose orders take them away from their families;

whose orders often put them in harm's way.

Thousands of ballots unlikely to reach military voters

A group of Republican senators said Monday that thousands of voter ballots are unlikely to reach military service members until after Nov. 6.

One day ahead of the election, Sens. John Cornyn (R-Texas), Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.), John McCain (R-Ariz.), Rob Portman (R-Ohio) and Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) sent a letter to Defense Secretary Leon Panetta to express their concern over delays in ballots reaching military voters overseas.

“We write to express  concerns over another serious failure by the Department of Defense (DoD) to safeguard the voting rights of our overseas military service members, which we believe could result in the imminent disenfranchisement of thousands,” the letter stated.

Mail redirection in the military can take between 14 to 50 days, meaning a ballot could reach the voter possibly more than a month after ballots have to be mailed back in order to be counted. The Military Postal Service Agency (MPSA) identified problems with the system after the 2010 election, but hasn’t implemented changes.

“DoD’s failure to fix this longstanding problem means that the blank ballots of thousands of overseas service members, as well as some who have recently returned from overseas, could be currently trapped in an archaic and inefficient mail forwarding system,” the senators wrote. “These ballots are unlikely to reach these service members until after Election Day has passed."

The senators advised Panetta to create a centralized mail redirection system and modernize military mail delivery.

“We are perplexed as to why DoD did not do everything in its power to modernize the system for redirecting blank ballots in order to eliminate this roadblock for military service members, per the top 2010 recommendations from MPSA,” the letter stated. “As we know you agree, they deserve to have a voice in choosing their elected leaders. Our men and women in uniform should be able to participate in the very same democratic system of government that they defend, not be relegated to mere spectator status because their ballot never reached them.”

The senators asked that a new mail system be in place by the next election, in 2014.

Dereliction of Duty

Barack Hussein Obama likes to remind us that HE is POTUS - President of the United States - and Commander-in-Chief.

The buck stops with him. Supposedly.

On September 11th terrorists attacked the American consulate in Libya and murdered 4 Americans.

At first we were told it was a spontaneous protest of a You Tube video that had taken an ugly turn.  Susan Rice, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Hussein Obama wanted us to believe this.

Now we know that was a lie.
Now we know that help was requested. And denied.

The Intelligence community was the first to be thrown under the bus.
Then Hillary Clinton threw herself under the bus.

What bus is this you ask.
It's the Barack Hussein Obama Re-election Campaign Bus, of course.

Barack Hussein Obama - President, Commander-in-Chief, Buck-stopper  Buck-Passer - has done nothing about the Libyan terrorist attack except to interrupt his campaign-and-talk-show tour long enough to meet the caskets at the airport.

Oh, my bad. That was a Photo op.

Then he goes on Comedy Central and  called the deaths of U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans in Benghazi “not optimal” during the taping of “The Daily Show.”

Here's what's not optimal, POTUS (=Piece of totally uncompetent sh*t), the fact that Bubba Clinton was impeached (by the House) for lying to Congress about sex ... and you not only allow the murders of 4 Americans, you lie about it and have others lie about it and there are no impeachment proceedings (yet).

The father of former SEAL Tyrone Woods, murdered in Benghazi, sent this message to Barack Obama:

“It’s better to die a hero than live a coward.”

Former National Security Adviser Bud McFarlane added this on Obama’s non-response to the Benghazi 9-11 terrorist attack:
“To have known what he had available, to have known that Americans were under fire, and to have done nothing, is dereliction of duty that I have never seen in a Commander in Chief from a president of any party. Outrageous.”

How Low Can You Go?

'You' being Facebook.

(Which, BTW, I am not now nor will be a user of)

From Breitbart.com:

Facebook Censors Navy SEALS To Protect Obama on Benghazi-Gate

Over the weekend, Facebook took down a message by the Special Operations Speaks PAC (SOS) which highlighted the fact that Obama denied backup to the forces being overrun in Benghazi.
In other words, Facebook put the Navy SEALS in timeout in order to shield Obama.

How low can you go?

Benghazi-gate

From  News.investors.com: Obama says Benghazi murders not optimal

Benghazi-gate:  The president reveals a disturbing callousness toward our war dead on yet another talk show.   When will he tell jihadists to stop clinging to their guns and religion and fearing people not like them?

During the second presidential debate President Obama told challenger Mitt Romney that he found suggestions that he and his administration were covering up the truth about the terrorist attack on Benghazi for political reasons "offensive."

He said he was the one who had to greet the coffins when they came home.

Then they deserve  more honor, respect and protection than they were given by their president in remarks made on yet another TV talk show.

Appearing on "The Daily Show" Comedy Central, Obama told host Jon Stewart that the killing of our Libyan ambassador, Christopher Stevens, and three other Americans was "not optimal."

Speaking of the administration's response to the assault, which, except for an oblique reference to "terrorist attacks" in the Rose Garden, with no specific reference to Benghazi, consisted of spending two weeks blaming a little-seen Internet movie trailer, Stewart said, "I would say and even you would admit it was not the optimal response — at least to the American people as far as all of us being on the same page."

Obama's appalling retort was to pick up on Stewart's choice of words to say, "Here is what I will say — if four Americans get killed, it is not optimal. And we are going to fix it."

   Not optimal?
The time to "fix it," Mr. President, was during the period before the attack when your administration turned down requests for enhanced security from our Libyan diplomats because it didn't fit your political narrative of al-Qaida on the run, Osama bin Laden dead and GM alive, and an "Arab Spring" blooming everywhere.

This is the president who once described the Fort Hood massacre by a chanting Islamist as "workplace violence",  who refuses to admit the war on terror is ongoing.

This is the president who referred to the rolling Islamist violence in the Middle East, including the deaths of two former Navy SEALs employed as private security in Benghazi, as "bumps in the road."

As Montana state Sen. Ryan Zinke, a former Navy SEAL, observes: "The president refuses to admit that his policy of appeasement and apology has failed. The murder of our ambassador and two former Navy SEALs is more than a 'bump in the road'; it is a global catastrophe where America is seen as being weak and vulnerable by our enemies."

The CIA station chief in Libya reported to Washington within 24 hours of last month's deadly attack on the U.S. Consulate that there was evidence it was carried out by militants, not a spontaneous mob upset about an American-made video ridiculing Islam's Prophet Muhammad, U.S. officials have told the Associated Press.

It was not an "optimal" response to this terrorist attack to have U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice go on five Sunday news shows on Sept. 16 to say, "We do not have information at present that leads us to conclude that this was premeditated or pre-planned."

  They were lying.

As Rep. Allen West, R-Fla., noted on Sept. 25, two weeks after the terrorist attack: "In his speech today to the United Nations, President Obama stated six times that the attacks across the Islamic world are attributed to a silly video."

   Obama was lying, too.

All the president's weenie words have been part of a callous and calculated plan to lie to the American people, put the truth in a can and kick that can down the road past the Nov. 6 election.

Barack Obama's presidency is the one not "optimal" and should end this day.

Obummer's Foreign Policy

Tonight is the last of the 2012 Presidential election debates and it will focus on foreign policy.

What is Obummer's foreign policy, you may wonder.

My first inclination is to say that he has none, but well, sometimes pictures speak louder than words:

And we all know how well the Appeaser-in-Chief and his State Department have handled the Libya situation.      Incompetently.
