Tom Harkin: Triple Threat!

A Fool, a Liar, A Liberal Idiot!
The Trifecta of Senatorship!

Tom Harkin (D/Iowa) has joined the Democrats attempt to smear conservative talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh.

Harkin attacking Rush Limbaugh on the Senate floor:

   "Well, I don’t know. Maybe he was just high on his drugs again. I don’t know whether he was or not. If so, he ought to let us know. But that shouldn’t be an excuse."

  The hoohah is over Rush Limbaugh allegedly calling Iraq War veterans who call for the U.S. withdrawal from Iraq “phony soldiers.”

 Limbaugh was talking about actual phony soldiers, like Jesse MacBeth and Micah Wright, as well as fabulists who are in the military but also make themselves useful to the anti-war left by becoming war critics, like Scott Thomas Beauchamp.

  Media Matters for America (affiliated with Moron.org and funded by George Soros) which is pretty much a front organization for Hillary Clinton (in fact, she claims to have started it), took Limbaugh's 'phony soldiers' comment, posted it on their website, intentionally misrepresenting it so as to appear that Limbaugh was maligning the US soldiers who oppose the war.

 What makes Senator Harkin's contribution so special?

 Well, apparently he is a phony himself!

  From "Stolen Valor: How the Vietnam Generation Was Robbed of Its Heroes and Its History" by B. G. Burkett and Glenna Whitley:

"During a 1984 bid for reelection to the Senate, Harkin boasted that he had served one year in Vietnam flying F-4s and F-8s on combat patrols and photo-recon missions. Challenged by Senator Barry Goldwater, Harkin did a quick shuffle, claiming that he had actually flown combat sorties over Cuba during the '60s. Harkin finally admitted that he had not seen combat but served as a ferry pilot stationed in Atsugi, Japan (Note: he called himself a 'test pilot'), flying aircraft repaired in Atsugi to the Philippines. When pressed by reporters to explain how much time he really spent in Vietnam, Harkin estimated that he had flown in and out of Vietnam a dozen or so times. But Harkin's military record showed no Vietnam service decorations. He finally conceded he had not flown combat air patrols in Vietnam and began describing himself as a Vietnam-era vet."
And from the Wall Street Journal, entitled "Harkin Presidential Bid Marred by Instances In Which Candidate Appears to Stretch Truth," dated December 26, 1991, p. A12.

So, what's your excuse, Senator?

The Clintonesque Ethic

Clintonesque: 1. shaded by deceit 2. Having Clinton-like qualities (Classless, arrogant, dishonest, shameless, corrupt, secretive, vicious, vengeful, elitist, and intoxicated by political power. ) 3. In matters of speech, to parse the English language at a direct question so as to avoid responsibility for your own actions. In matters of conduct, to be more interested in self, instead of the greater good.

Remember all that money (almost $900,000) that the Clinton campaign was going to return and/or donate to charity because it was tainted by scandal?

Well, Hillary wants it back.

The Clinton campaign will try to get most of the donors to give the money back right after the refunds, said a senior Democratic strategist and one of Clinton’s campaign advisers. “That’s the plan.”

Ms Clinton is running for president on her White House experience in the 1990s, a time when both Clintons were often photographed with people whose money was funny, like Johnny Chung

and
Charlie Trie .

Ah, yes, the Clinton Follies. Eight years of demanding dollars for the honor of having your photo taken with the Hill-Billy Clintons (Oh, wait, he's still charging for that), or sleeping in the Lincoln Bedroom.

Did it cost extra to jump up and down on the Lincoln Bed like those twits Markie Post and Linda Bloodworth-Thomason, or was that included in the $150,000 'donation'?

Note to Hillary: Just because your lying, cheating co-president got away with slimey campaign fund tactics (like White House coffees, demanding dollars for photo ops, and selling overnight stays in the Lincoln Bedroom) doesn't mean you will.

Advisers say Hillary is more worried about containing the political damage than furious about the scandal.

Yet she doesn't want to appear to be greedy or ethically challenged.

Not that she isn't, she just doesn't want to appear to be so.

This is the Clintonesque ethic at work.

"The Clintons represent the worst in modern American politics: ruthless ambition over a desire to serve; preoccupation with political funding over a fair system; opportunism over principle; betrayal of any cause or policy over taking a stand; and a desperation to gain and keep office over any obligation to honor its responsibilities." --

The Streets of San Francisco

The United States Marine Corps wanted to film their spectacular Silent Drill team on the city streets on the anniversary o
f 9/11 for a recruitment commercial.

The request was denied by Stefanie Coyote, Executive Director of the SF Film Commmission.

The reason?
"Traffic control was the issue," explained Ms Coyote.
The Marines would have shut down just one lane of California Street for a few minutes at a time.

Captain Greg Corrales,
SFPD Traffic Bureau, who works with film crews shooting commercials, TV shows and movies in the city,
points out the Film Commission often approves shoots for rush hour.
"If they want to get the job done, they find a way to get it done."
The city also allows street demonstrations, anti-war protests and other events which snarl traffic, such as Critical Mass, when 'self-propelled' commuters -bicyclists in particular- take to the streets en masse.

Captain Corrales, a Marine veteran whose son is serving his third tour of duty in Iraq, says:
"Ms. Coyote's politics blinded her to her duty as the director of the Film Commission and as a responsible citizen."
Ms Coyote would only allow the USMC production crew to film on California Street if there were no Marines in the picture. They filmed the empty street and will have to superimpose the Marines later.

The Marines were also denied permits to shoot on the Golden Gate Bridge that same morning, ostensibly because of similar traffic concerns.

This is just another insult to the American military, along with the city blocking the USS Iowa from docking there, the banning of the junior ROTC from high schools, and trying to ban the yearly Blue Angels air show.

When the jihad comes to your city, Ms Coyote, I hope that all 800,000 of you liberal idiots and illegal immigrants and chronically homeless street-shitters will welcome whoever it is that comes to pull your sorry asses out of the fire.

The Clintons vs Freedom of the Press

On January 20, 1993, William Jefferson Clinton took the oath of office as the 42nd president of the United States of America and swore to "preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States" from enemies both foreign and domestic.

Is there an expiration date on that oath?

Because ex-president Bubba surely isn't doing anything to preserve, protect, and defend the rights of Josh Green.

Green wrote an article for GQ Magazine about infighting within Hillary's campaign, which was sure to be vastly embarrassing (for her) and entertaining (for the rest of us).
So, Bill Clinton's spokesman, Jay Carson, offered GQ's editors a choice: Kill the piece, or lose access to planned December cover-boy Bill Clinton.

GQ editor Jim Nelson wussed out and bowed to the Clintons' demands. The 'offending' article was dumped.

Note: Josh Green is not a particular favorite of the Clinton campaign. He authored an unflattering profile in the November 2006 Atlantic Monthly, which concluded that the junior Senator from New York is, more or less, a calculating political hack. He wrote:

“Clinton offers no big ideas, no crusading causes — by her own tacit admission, no evidence of bravery in the service of a larger ideal. Instead, her Senate record is an assemblage of many, many small gains.

Her real accomplishment in the Senate has been to rehabilitate the image and political career of Hillary Rodham Clinton. Impressive though that has been in its particulars, it makes for a rather thin claim on the presidency. Senator Clinton has plenty to talk about, but she doesn’t have much to say."

GQ will probably name Bully-boy Bubba the 'Man of the Year'

What a shame and a sham.

The Idiot(s) at Columbia

  More erudite people than I have written about Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's visit to the US this week.

  But here's my three cents worth:

  I personally think the two-faced little Monkey-Man dictator should never have been invited to speak at Columbia University, nor should he have been allowed in this country for any reason in the first place.

  Most, if not all, of those 700 Columbia University students in attendance at Monkey-Man's 'lecture' will never serve their country in the military.

  Fortunately for them, they have that choice.

  But others made the choice to do so, and some of them are now in harm's way.

  Whether you are for the war or not, whether you are a Wingnut or a Moonbat, our husbands and wives, our sons and daughters and our brothers and sisters are being killed and maimed by RPG-29 rocket-propelled grenades, 240 mm rockets and armor-piercing roadside bombs known as explosively formed penetrators (EFPs), provided by the terrorist state of Iran.

  What disturbs me the most about the whole thing is that some of those Columbia University students actually applauded the little shit.

  For Americans to applaud the leader of a state that sponsors terrorism and is providing weapons and materials that are killing Americans is just not right.

  What is wrong with those people?

Bill Clinton - Giving America the Finger

With Bill Clinton, the truer the accusation, the greater his indignation.

And the more his finger wags in our faces.

The second time ex-President and known liar Bill Clinton gave America the finger on national television was one year ago today on Fox News Channel's Chris Wallace's interview show.

From behind the 'aw-shucks', good-ol-boy façade, the real Bill Clinton emerged, the man those who have worked for him know – the angry, sarcastic, arrogant, self-righteous, bully boy.

Clinton, never one to let truth or his draft-dodging, anti-military past get in his way, portrayed himself as a tough, anti-terror president, with conservatives criticizing him for obsessing about bin Laden during his presidency.

With his finger wagging in America's face (again), the ex-president told Wallace,
"I worked hard to try to kill him. I authorized a finding for the CIA to kill him. We contracted with people to kill him. I got closer to killing him than anybody has gotten since."
LIAR.

Clinton snarled,
"And you've got that little smirk on your face and you think you're so clever. But I had responsibility for trying to protect this country. I tried and I failed to get bin Laden. I regret it. But I did try. And I did everything I thought I responsibly could ..."
LIAR.

Michael Scheuer, head of the CIA’s Osama bin Laden unit during the Clinton Follies, said the al-Qaida leader "is alive today” because Clinton and his top aides refused to kill him. His unit was ready and willing to go into Afghanistan and hit Osama's camps, but the order never came from above.
"He defames the CIA ... and the men and women who risked their lives to give their administration repeated chances to kill bin Laden."
The first noteworthy time Clinton gave America the finger was January 26, 1998, on national television, when Bubba, looking straight at the camera, wagging his finger in America's face, said:
"I want you to listen to me. I'm going to say this again. I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky. I never told anybody to lie, not a single time, never. These allegations are false. And I need to go back to work for the American people."

LIAR.

Not only did he have sexual relations with that woman ... he was:
  • the first US president to be ordered to give a blood sample for DNA evidence;
  • the only US president ever impeached on grounds of personal malfeasance;
  • the first US president sued for sexual harassment;
  • the first US president accused of rape;
  • the first US president to establish a legal defense fund;
  • the first US president to be held in contempt of court;
Bill Clinton left a stain on the U.S. Presidency as well as on Monica's blue dress.

So, watch out America. When Bubba's finger is wagging and his lips are moving, he's lying again!

"If a President of the United States ever lied to the American people, he should resign." --Bill Clinton, July, 1974

Hillary Shows Her True Colors

Hillary Clinton wants to be POTUS, which
means she would also be Commander in Chief of America's armed services.

Since formally announcing her presidential candidacy, Hillary has been portraying herself as a pro-military supporter of our men and women in uniform.

Well, that requires "the willing suspension of disbelief".

Hillary showed her 'true colors' as self-proclaimed 'co-president': she did not want uniformed military personnel in the Clinton White House.

When that didn't work out, she wanted uniformed military personnel to leave the room when she came in.

Hillary had uniformed military personnel serving canapes at White House functions.

There was a story about how she commanded a young White House Marine to fetch her another cup of coffee, and when he refused to leave his post, she threw the remains of her coffee in his face.

As a Senator she has consistently voted against funding the troops.

Senator John Cornyn (R-TX), not one to shy away from forcing Democrats to go on record, sponsored an amendment to the defense authorization bill which gave senators "a chance to distance themselves from the notion that some group has them on a leash, like a puppet on a string."

Yesterday's Senate vote condemning MoveOn.org for a newspaper ad it ran last week attacking General David Petrae
us passed overwhelmingly 72-25.Hillary voted NAY ... her choice was not to support the amendment ... not to support our troop commander.

(Actually not one of the Democratic presidential candidates supported it, although Obama voted minutes earlier for an alternative resolution by Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif.)

Apparently the money provided by Moveon.org is more important to Hillary than actually supporting America's men and women serving their country. Those same men and women whom she wan
ts to command.

Hillary has showed her true colors again.

See how your
Senators voted on Amendment Number: S.Amdt. 2934 to S.Amdt. 2011 to H.R. 1585 (National Defense: Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2008)
