YouthFOOL Degeneration

It's a sad, sorry indictment of our society that the obsession with the personal implosions and criminal 'adventures' of ditzy, dipwad youthFOOL celebrities so dominates the broadcast and print media and h
as such an influence on others.

Britney 'Commando' Spears, Paris 'Jailbird Twit' Hilton, Lindsay Loser LiLo Lohan, Nicole 'Why Does She Rate 2 Minutes of Time?' Ritchie, belong in jail and/or serious rehab, not the fashionable California-style revolving-door rehab where they can check themselves in and out to go shopping.

How about sending these
shameless, unapologetic, spoiled rich brats who have no personal boundaries, no regard for the law, and no class,   to a place that just might make a difference in their lives.

Like, say, Maricopa County's lockup run by Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
Now THAT I'd watch.

I don't want to spend my time trying to avoid reading the miles (and miles) of print and avoid watching the hours (and hours) of broadcast time devoted to
these youthFOOL idiots wasting their lives when there are many young people whose lives are so much worthier.

But unfortunately not news-worthier.

For instance, does anyone remember the names of the two young American soldiers taken captive in Iraq last May?

They are Byron Fouty

                              and
Alex Jimenez

Can you name the 22-year old U.S.M.C. Marine who was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor?

Corporal Jason Dunham

If you want to do some in-depth coverage on someone, how about "the most wounded GI",  Joseph Briseno Jr and his family?

Or U.S. Marine Sgt.
James 'Eddie' Wright, who became a martial arts instructor despite losing both hands in Iraq?

Or
Lori Piestewa, believed to be the first American Indian woman killed in combat ?

The real sacrifices made by these young people who live(d) their lives with honor and courage, who never sought the spotlight but who so absolutely deserve it, are worth far more than anything Britney, Paris or Li-Lo could ever hope to accomplish.

The Clinton Legacy: Lest We Foolishly Forget

"Lies.  Perjury.  Suborning Perjury.  Adultery.  Deceit.  Harrassment.  Scandals. Abuse of Power.  Impeachment."

January 20, 1993, William Jefferson Clinton took the oath of office as the 42nd president of the United States of America and swore to "preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States" from enemies both foreign and domestic.

During the next eight years, Bill Clinton presided over the most corrupt administration in American history.

He would be only the second president in American history to be impeached.

The Clinton stain upon the Presidency (as well as the stain on Monica's blue dress) left a legacy of controversy and scandal.

Legacy $ 1: Commercialization of the Presidency :

  Everything had a price:

overnight stays in the Lincoln bedroom ($50,000-$100,000),

seats on the Dept of Commerce's foreign trade missions ($50,000),

dinner with Clinton at his table ($100,000)

Legacy # 2: Target for Terrorism :

Terrorism was treated as a law enforcement matter.

Neither Clinton nor former members of his administration want Americans to remember this.

After the first World Trade Center attack, Clinton never visited the site and his only public comment was to caution against "over-reacting."

On Clinton's watch:

1993 World Trade Center bombing (killed 6 and injured a hundred more),

1995 bombing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (killed 5 U.S. military personnel),

1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia (killed 19 and injured 200 U.S. military personnel),

1998 bombing of U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania (killed 258 and injured 5,000),

2000 bombing of the USS Cole docked in Yemen (killed 17 and injured 39 U.S. sailors)

After each attack Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.  He did nothing.  Osama was watching.

Legacy # 3: Foreign Policy, a Time Bomb :

Clinton's foreign policy was driven by t.v. news coverage and endless political polling (aka CNN Diplomacy).

China: all those covert Chinese campaign donations bought them access to high-tech missile and satellite technology. Now their long-range missiles can hit our west coast.

NK: bad-boy Kim Jong Il 'promised' not to build nukes with the two light water reactors that Clinton gave him. We saw what happened there.

Iran: the Gore-Chernomyrdin agreement was supposed to halt the transfer of nuclear technology to Iran. It didn't. Then they up came with Operation Merlin, a scheme personally approved by Clinton, where the CIA deliberately gave Iranian physicists blueprints for part of a nuclear bomb.

Hello?  We helped helped Tehran advance its nuclear weapons development program?

Iraq: Saddam kicked out U.N. weapons inspectors and got away with it.

Russia: Moscow dropped its once-positive relationship with the US and began a "strategic relationship" with China.

Legacy # 4: A Depleted and Demoralized Military :

Although managing to avoid serving his country in uniform, Clinton apparently got a thrill of exercising his power as C in C, deploying military forces more than any other president: 40 times, compared with 14 times under President G.H.W. Bush and 16 times under President Reagan.

And he did this while slashing the military budget: In 1990 defense spending represented nearly 30% of the total annual federal budget; By 2000 it had been chopped to 15% (The money 'saved' went to Clinton social programs).

Clinton slashed 700,000 active duty military members & 293,000 reservists (40% reduction); Reduced army divisions from 18 to 10; Reduced active duty AF active duty fighter squadrons from 24 to 12; Cut 232 strategic bombers, 500 ICMs with 1950 warheads, 546 naval vessels (including 4 aircraft carriers, 19 strategic ballistic missile submarines, 121 surface combat ships, plus all of the associated logistical assets)

During the Clinton-Gore years many military enlisted families had to apply for food stamps and 2/3 of all military family housing was characterized as 'substandard' by the Defense Science Board.

Legacy # 5: Records for Personal Worsts :

- The only president ever impeached on grounds of personal malfeasance, 1st president sued for sexual harassment, 1st president accused of rape, 1st first lady to come under criminal investigation, 1st president to establish a legal defense fund, 1st president to be held in contempt of court, 1st president required to give a blood sample for DNA, 1st president disbarred from the US Supreme Court and a state court

- Most number of cabinet officials to come under criminal investigation; Most number of convictions and guilty pleas by friends and associates; Most number of witnesses to flee country or refuse to testify; Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions, here and from abroad.

Legacy # 6: Scandal after Scandal
:

Billing-gate,  Cattlegate,  Chinagate,  Filegate,  Fostergate,  Galagate,  Lootgate,  Pardongate,  Travelgate,  Vandalgate,  Whitewater,  Zippergate

Legacy # 7: New words - Clintonesque and Clintonian
:

Clintonesque: 1. shaded by deceit 2. Having Clinton-like qualities* 3. In matters of speech, to parse the English language at a direct question as to avoid responsibility for your own actions. In matters of conduct, to be more interested in #1, instead of the greater good

Clintonian: referring to any sex act except for penile to vaginal penetration. Most commonly used for oral sex.

Legacy # 8: The lesson of the Clinton-Gore administration: you can use the executive branch of government to punish political enemies, abuse executive power for personal and political ends ... and get away with it.

*Clinton-like qualities: Classless, arrogant, dishonesty, elitist, shameless, corrupt, secretive, vicious, vengeful, elitist, and intoxicated by political power.

Happy Birthday, Mary Jo Kopechne

July 26, 2007

Mary Jo Kopechne would have been 67 years old today.

She died July 18, 1969, gasping for air in the backseat of an Oldsmobile that had been driven off Dyke Bridge into Poucha Pond on Chappaquiddick Island.

The driver left Mary Jo behind to die alone after a night of drin
king and partying.

His story was that he drove down Dyke Road by mistake, went off the bridge, attempted to rescue Ms Kopechne, failed, rested a bit, walked back to the party, rounded up his cousin and a friend, returned to the site, but they failed to rescue Mary Jo, so he swam back to his hotel.

He did not call the authorities to report the accident until the next morning, 10 hours later. Two fishermen had already discovered the car and Mary Jo's body had been recovered by this time.

Although unsuccessful in his attempt to blame the accident on Mary Jo, the driver did manage to get Dr. Robert Watt, his family doctor, to explain his patient's strange behavior by claiming the d
river was in a state of shock and confusion and "possible concussion." (Dr. Watt later admitted that his diagnosis about the driver's post-accident memory loss had been based "on what the driver told him.")

Some had doubts.

At the inquest, Judge James Boyle pointed out that he could not understand how the driver managed to drive down Dyke Road by mistake since on the day of the accident, the driver had twice driven on Dyke Road to go to the beach. Getting to Dyke Road involved a 90-degree turn from a paved road onto a bumpy dirt-track.

Investigators found it difficult to understand:
1) why the driver was crossing Dyke Bridge when he said he was attempting to reach Edgartown which was in the opposite direct
ion;

2) how the driver escaped from the car. When it was recovered from the water all the doors were locked and three of the windows were either open or smashed in. The driver, a large-framed 6 foot 2 inches tall, managed to get out of the car
, why couldn't the much smaller Mary Jo?

3) why the driver did not seek help from any of the 4 houses -all occupied- that he passed on his way from the bridge back to the party (Pierre Malm and Rev. David Smith lived about 400 feet from the bridge, Fire Captain Foster Silva lived 150 yards from Lawrence Cottage, the party site)

The driver was unable to answer these questions.

Other questions went unanswered as well:

Why did the driver did not call the police while at the hotel?
Ross Richards had a conversation with him the following morning and described him as 'casual and at ease'.

Why did the driver make 17 long distance telephone calls during the hours he claimed to be "in shock" after the accident? (The calls were charged to his credit card)

What was the cause of death?
Dr. Donald Mills of Edgartown, wrote on the death certificate: "death by drowning".

John Farrar, the rescue diver who removed Mary Jo from the car, did not believe that she had drowned, but instead died by asphyxiation as the oxygen in the air she was breathing was used up and replaced with carbon dioxide. "She was alive, easily an hour, maybe two," he said.

Undertaker Eugene Frieh who prepared Mary Jo's body for burial agreed with Farrar.

There was no autopsy.

To drink and drive is a crime. To flee the scene of an accident is a crime. To fail to render aid to someone injured in an accident you caused is a crime. While sleeping around on your wife is not a crime, it does show questionable moral character.

The driver was found guilty of leaving the scene of the accident and received a suspended two-month jail term and one-year driving ban.

The driver was U.S. Senator Edward M. Kennedy.

Had you or I gotten drunk and driven off a bridge, leaving a passenger to die while choosing not to report the accident, you or I would go to prison.

Kennedy went back to the U.S. Senate.

Rest In Peace, Mary Jo.

Species: FOOL Genus: POLITICIAN

An Argument FOR Term Limits:

Hillary Clinton: "As women and as lawyers, we must never again shy from raising our voices against sexual harassment." (1992 American Bar Association luncheon praising Anita Hill)

Yet you never raised your voice to help Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey, Juanita Broaddrick, or the young Air Force enlisted woman who was cornered and molested by your husband on Air Force One.
Hillary Clinton: "We must stop thinking of the individual and start thinking about what is best for society." [1993]

"We're going t
o take things away from you on behalf of the common good." (June 28, 2004)

Thus speaketh Comrade Clinton, good socialist.
Bill Clinton: "No question that an admission of making false statements to government officials and interfering with the FBI is an impeachable offense." (Arkansas Gazette, August 8, 1974)

You
did and you were.

Bill Clinton: "I promise you the most ethical administration in the history of our country."
The London Times, Feb 12, 1995: "For a team that Clinton promised would adhere to a "higher ethical standard" his administration has presided over an extraordinary amount of corruption and an unprecedented number of high-level officials forced to resign in disgrace."

And we had 5 more years to go!

Bill Clinton: "If a President of the United States ever lied to the American people, he should resign."
So why the hell didn't you?
Ted Kennedy: "Do we operate under a system of equal justice under law? Or is there one system for the average citizen and another for the high and mighty?"
Mary Jo Kopechne could not be reached for comment.

Ted Kennedy:
"The Republicans are looking after the financial interests of the wealthiest individuals in this country."

You're welcome, Mr Millionaire Kennedy.

John Kerry: "I promise just to serve two terms. Republicans do it differently. They just have the son repeat the father's whole first term."

Democrats want to use the wife to repeat the husband's terms.
Christopher Dodd: "I don't care what the public wants, I'm going to give it what it needs."

Spoken like a true politician.

Barack Hussein Obama: ""My job is not to represent Washington to you, but to represent you to Washington."

If only he meant it.

Media Moron: Katie Couric, Not-So-Perky Fool

Couric: "No matter how deplorable Saddam Hussein
was considered, he was the ultimate referee who kept the Sunnis and the Shiites apart from killing each other."
> When he wasn't busy killing them and the Kurds himself. NF<

Couric on Fidel Castro: "He is considered one of the most charismatic leaders of the 20th century ... Castro traveled the country cultivating his image and his revolution delivered."
> His revolution delivered torture and imprisonment and death to thousands of Cubans who were undoubtedly less impressed with his charisma. NF <

Couric on gas prices: "It's ridiculous. I had to take out a loan to fill up my minivan."
> From a person who makes a ridiculous multi-million dollar yearly salary. NF <
Couric To Hillary Clinton in November 2004: "Is it disappointing for both you and your husband that his detractors and critics continue to pursue him?"
> Not to mention all those pesky sexual harassment victims. NF <

Couric to Jessica Lynch, American GI captured in Iraq, November 2003: "Do you think that somehow, this, your rescue, was manipulated by the government in order to, sort of, gin up support for this war?"
> While serving her country Jessica Lynch was captured by the enemy, had her arms and legs broken, was anally raped (none of which is condoned by the Geneva Convention), and Ms Couric wants to know how PFC Lynch feels about her rescue possibly being a PR stunt. NF <
Couric defending Bill Clinton: "With the exception of the pardon of Marc Rich and some other moves that probably were somewhat questionable, would you concede this morning that it's gotten to the point where there is a bit of piling on going on here? I mean, it seems to me that he has done some things that other presidents have done in the past."
> Other 'somewhat' questionable moves being rape, adultery, sexual harassment, perjury, suborning perjury. NF <

I can't think of another president who has done all of the above.
Can you,
Ms Couric?

Questions for Hillary Clinton

You probably won't hear Katie, Diane or Meredith asking these:

* How proud are you of being the first First Lady to come under criminal investigation?

* Do you believe that anyone is above the law?

* Do you agree with your husband that oral sex isn't really sex?

* What would you say to the parents of the Arlington, VA middle-school girl active in an 'oral-sex ring' who said, "What's the big deal? President Clinton did it." (Page 19, Newsweek, July 19, 1999) ?

* Have you allowed yourself to be publicly demeaned by a philandering husband because he is your ticket to political
fame and fortune?

* Was it because you did not want the American people to know the extent to which you assimilated the beliefs and methods of Saul Alinsky, radical organizer and author of "Rules for Radicals", that your Wellesley College Senior thesis was locked away in 1993 at the request of the White House?

* While monitoring the murder trial of the New Haven Nine for the ACLU did you ever see the videotape of the 'trial' (=torture and murder) of victim Alex Rackley that was made by his Black Panther killers?

* If elected President, will you continue the crass commercialism of the Presidency that the Clinton administration began with the selling of overnight stays in the Lincoln bedroom?

* Do you still think that drug abusers suffer from a disability and thereby have a right to employment at the White House?

* Why was White House physician Dr. Burton Lee refused access to your co-president's medical records and then fired?

* Why was known terrorist Yassir Arafat invited to the White House more than any other world leader?

* What was the result of the investigation into your supporters who
spit on a state police honor guard carrying an American flag just before you accepted your party's Senate nomination at Albany's Pepsi Arena? You and then-state party chairwoman Judith Hope promised an investigation to find the guilty parties.
* Were the Clinton White House staffers who vandalized the White House (60 computer keyboards disabled, desk drawers glued shut, coffee poured into file cabinets, doorknobs stolen, lewd messages left on answering machines, and a presidential seal gone) ever reprimanded?

* Do you advocate “reform” that would give illegal aliens full access to taxpayer-funded health care services?

* Is it part of your 'family values' to tolerate your husband's brazen infidelities?
* Why are you "deeply disturbed" to learn that the National Security Agency was data-mining phone records to track down terrorists, when ...

  1) under your co-president,
the same NSA monitored millions of private phone calls placed by U.S. citizens and citizens of other countries under a super secret program code-named Echelon ?

  2) as First Lady, you had Marsha Scott, the chief of staff in the Presidential Personnel Office, develop a taxpayer-funded database (to the tune of $1.6 million) known as WHO DB that contains the vital statistics, SS #, ethnicity, political associations, sexual preference of more than 350,000 members of Congress, state and local officials, journalists, supporters and donors from the lists of the DNC, and officials from the Reagan and Bush 41 administrations ?

* Do you still have the no eye-contact rule that former White House FBI agent Gary Aldrich wrote about in his book "Unlimited Access"?

* Do you still require Secret Service agents assigned to protect you to carry your bags?

* Is it your policy to 'stiff' waitresses? (Google: Trish Trupo)

* Do you still support the 'Dream Act', which is designed to allow illegal aliens to attend college at the reduced tuition rates normally reserved for in-state legal residents?
* Your supporters credit you with a sharp memory for detail, but when questioned in court or before Congress about various Clinton scandals you testified under oath you 'didn't remember' or 'couldn't recall' 250 times.

And then you were paid $8 million for your memoirs.

Just how accurate are those memoirs?

Species: FOOL Genus: CELEBRITY

As Americans,
we enjoy
the privilege of freedom of speech and the right to express our opinions.

Thanks to the celebrity-obsessed American culture that has made them famous, made them millionaires, made them think they are somehow special, some celebrity fools use their so-called celebrity status as a national platform from which to spew their pompous 'blame-America-first' rhetoric.

Some of the bigger fools (note: this does not refer to
personal body size):

Rosie O'Donnell: Don’t fear the terrorists. They’re mothers and fathers.”

Tell that to the families of Daniel Pearl, Nick Berg, Kristian Menchac
a and Thomas Tucker.

Rosie O'Donnell: "What does a president have to do to be
impeached?"

Ask Bill Clinton.

Rosie O'Donnell: ""655,000 Iraqi civilians are dead. Who are the terrorists?"

Elizabeth Hasselbeck: ""Wait, who are you calling terrorists now? Americans?"

O'Donnell: "I'm saying if you were in Iraq, and the other country, the United States, the richest in the world, invaded your country and killed 655,000 of your citizens, what would you call us?

Sounds to me like she's calling us terrorists. And her numbers are way off.

Michael "Loser" Moore: "They (Americans) are possibly the dumbest people on the planet ... "

Back atcha, Mikey boy!.

Michael "Loser Moore":
These bastards who run our country are a bunch of conniving, thieving, smug pricks who need to be brought down and removed and replaced with a whole new system that we control."

Mikey knows a smug prick when he sees one (every time he looks in a mirror).

"Hanoi" Jane Fonda: On the Vietnam War POWs:
""These
were not men who had been tortured. These were not men who had been starved. These were not men who had been brainwashed. The POWs who said they had been tortured were exaggerating, probably for their own self-interests."

And she wasn't finished.

When
American Vietnam War POWs began to return home, some of them having been held captive for up to nine years, and describe the tortures they had endured at the hands of the North Vietnamese, Ms Fonda told the country that they should "not hail the POWs as heroes, because they are hypocrites and liars".

JJane Fonda: "I would think that if you understood what Communism was, you would hope, you would pray on your knees, that we would someday become communists."

Why was this person never prosecuted for treason?

Barbra
Streisand: "Clinton's pardons have no impact on the health and welfare of the American people."

No, a bunch of drug traffickers, FALN bombers, and assorted dirty politicians won't have any impact at all.

Harry Belafonte: "If you believe in freedom, if you believe in justice, if you believe in democracy, you have no choice but to support Fidel Castro!"

Your Day-O has passed, buddy.

Madonna: "If I were President, Howard Stern would get kicked out of the country - and Roman Polanski would be allowed back in." "

"President Madonna" would eject Citizen Stern for exercising his constitutional right to free speech -- but would welcome a foreigner who wa
s 44 when convicted of drugging and raping a 13-year-old American child.

Cameron Diaz: "We have a voice now, and we're not using it, and women have so much to lose. I mean, we could lose the right to our bodies. If you think that rape should be legal, then don't vote."

This is just
too stupid to comment about.

Backstreet Boy
Kevin Richardson
on the 9-1
1 terrorist attacks: ""I just think we are a little bit of an arrogant nation and maybe this is a little bit of a humbling experience ... "

This arrogant nation helped make you a little bit of a millionaire.
And, yes, over 3000 innocent deaths is a little bit of a 'humbling experience'.

"In times of disorder and stress, the fanatics play a prominent role; in times of peace, the critics. Both are shot after the revolution."
- --Edmund Wilson, Memoirs of Hecate County
