Katie Couric: Elitist Defeatist

On Sept 25th, Katie Couric, still pretending to be a reporter, spoke at the National Press Club:

“The whole culture of wearing flags on our lapel and saying ‘we’ when referring to the United States ... was just a little uncomfortable.”
The wearing of flag pins is now a cultural thing?

This makes her 'uncomfortable'?

Is she kidding?

Instead of 'we Americans, what do you say, Ms. Couric?

You Americans?

I would question Ms Couric's patriotism ... to find if she has any and for what country, because she sure doesn't have any for America.

Greg Gutfield:
"Katie and her ilk are uncomfortable with patriotism because, like religion, it takes the focus off of her. Her kind of patriotism is one of "dissent" and that's the kind our enemies love."
Then Contemptable Couric said on the Charlie Rose Show that she agreed with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on one point:
“Oftentimes Westerners don’t really understand fully the values of this particular culture.”
Oh, I think Monkey-Man has made himself perfectly, revulsively clear ... Death to America.

'That particular culture' wants to destroy our society and culture and they are very happy to kill us to do it.

Too bad Ms Couric doesn't understand that.

Media Moron: Katie Couric, Not-So-Perky Fool

Couric: "No matter how deplorable Saddam Hussein
was considered, he was the ultimate referee who kept the Sunnis and the Shiites apart from killing each other."
> When he wasn't busy killing them and the Kurds himself. NF<

Couric on Fidel Castro: "He is considered one of the most charismatic leaders of the 20th century ... Castro traveled the country cultivating his image and his revolution delivered."
> His revolution delivered torture and imprisonment and death to thousands of Cubans who were undoubtedly less impressed with his charisma. NF <

Couric on gas prices: "It's ridiculous. I had to take out a loan to fill up my minivan."
> From a person who makes a ridiculous multi-million dollar yearly salary. NF <
Couric To Hillary Clinton in November 2004: "Is it disappointing for both you and your husband that his detractors and critics continue to pursue him?"
> Not to mention all those pesky sexual harassment victims. NF <

Couric to Jessica Lynch, American GI captured in Iraq, November 2003: "Do you think that somehow, this, your rescue, was manipulated by the government in order to, sort of, gin up support for this war?"
> While serving her country Jessica Lynch was captured by the enemy, had her arms and legs broken, was anally raped (none of which is condoned by the Geneva Convention), and Ms Couric wants to know how PFC Lynch feels about her rescue possibly being a PR stunt. NF <
Couric defending Bill Clinton: "With the exception of the pardon of Marc Rich and some other moves that probably were somewhat questionable, would you concede this morning that it's gotten to the point where there is a bit of piling on going on here? I mean, it seems to me that he has done some things that other presidents have done in the past."
> Other 'somewhat' questionable moves being rape, adultery, sexual harassment, perjury, suborning perjury. NF <

I can't think of another president who has done all of the above.
Can you,
Ms Couric?
