Moochelle's Happy Birthday

Barack Hussein Obama has left Moochelle in Hawaii after their 17-day Holiday vacation as a birthday present to her ...

 

 and the U.S. Taxpayers are picking up the tab yet again.

So that's airfare home, and by airfare I mean something the size of AF One. 

Plus Secret Service detail, plus meals and someone to cook them, plus cleaning, laundry and someone to do them, too, etc etc etc.


But this is nothing new for Moochelle.

Remember several years ago when she could not wait to get away to Hawaii, so she left in advance of her husband ...

    to the tune of an estimated $63,000 -$100,000 additional cost to the U.S. Treasury?

  Man, 60,000 to 100,000 more just for an extension of a vacation...that is just depressing. I haven't had a vacation in years and as a tax payer this costs 3-5 times the amount I make in a year. They don't give two sh*ts about the poor imo and the laws coming out of Washington are suffocating. When is this gonna stop. I'm tired of getting pissed on by these "caring" people.

  Nancy Reagan, both Bush first ladies, and for all I know, H Clinton, did not chronically take vacations apart from their husbands. Moochell O. has done it to the point of obscenity. She has taken separate flights to Marthas Vineyard hours ahead of or behind her husband, at a cost of tens of dollars to the taxpayer.
   This 17-day vacation of the Obamas has cost us over $3 million already. Now, queen Moochelle is going to easily cost us that amount again.
   At a time when over 90 million Americans are without jobs, and our brave men and women In uniform are having benefits slashed, what the Obamas are doing is WRONG.

The greatest threat to our national security are those voters, alive and dead,  registered and otherwise, who voted for Barack Hussein Obama in 2008 and those who will vote for him in 2012.

At a Denver (campaign) event, Barack Hussein Obama said, "...I wanna make sure that when she's working she is getting paid the same as men, I gotta say that First Ladies right now don't, even though that's a tough job!"

And get this: the 2 O'kids went along and were listed as Senior Advisors.

One wonders if Senior Advisors receive compensation?

Or is traveling on a giant private aircraft + meals + museums + a private safari compensation enough.

 

Moochie's mom, niece, nephew, make-up artist and hair stylist were also on board.

"This trip was as much an opportunity for the Obama family to go on a safari as it was a trip to conduct government business," said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. "This junket wasted tax dollars and the resources of our overextended military. No wonder we had to sue to pry loose this information."

But barely a month after returning from a luxury Christmas break in Hawaii Michelle Obama is on holiday again - this time at the exclusive Colorado ski resort of Aspen. It's her 16th holiday since her husband took office.

And last year Mrs Obama took Sasha and Malia to Vail and Beaver Creek last Presidents' Day just days after the President tried to sell his cost-cutting budget to the American people by asking them to stay at home.

Mrs Obama also raised eyebrows when for the second year in a row she left earlier than her husband for their annual Christmas holiday in Hawaii, incurring additional expenses of an estimated $100,000. The 17 day holiday is estimated to have cost taxpayers $4 million.

All total, with Christmas and summer holidays included, the Colorado jaunt is trip number 16 for Mrs. Obama since the family moved to the White House.

According to the Hawaii Reporter the costs were:

• $63,000 on an early flight bringing Mrs Obama and the children to Hawaii ahead of the President
• $1,000,000 on Mr Obama’s return trip from Washington on Air Force One
• $16,000 to rent nearby homes for Secret Service and Navy Seals
• $134,000 for 24 White House staff to stay at the Moana Hotel
• $251,000 in police overtime
• $10,000 for an ambulance to be on hand at all times
  

SKI TRIP TO VAIL: FEBRUARY 2011

• Michelle Obama and her daughters stayed at the Sebastian hotel on Vail Mountain, where rooms cost more than $2,400 for multi-bedroom suites.
• The family appear to have flown there on Air Force Two.
• They were escorted to the resort by about a dozen vehicles, including 15 state and local law enforcement officers.

MARTHA'S VINEYARD: AUGUST 2011

• The Blue Heron Farm estate, where the Obama family stayed, rents for about $50,000 a week.
• Michelle, Sasha and Malia Obama flew to the estate just hours before the president to make the most of the holiday - again, incurring extra flight costs.
• According to U.S. News and World Report, the Coast Guard was required to keep ships floating near the property. The presidential helicopter and jet remain at the ready and security agents will be on 24-hour duty.

According to the Hawaii Reporter the costs were:

•  $63,000 on an early flight bringing Mrs Obama and the children to Hawaii ahead of the President but add security and personnel for a total of about $100,000

• $151,200  to rent nearby homes for Secret Service and Navy Seals

Remarkably ... Stupid

Michelle Obama cited "Remarkable progress" on the economy

"In the last three years, we've worked hard to get out of this mess and we've made some remarkable progress."

Remarkable, yes.     

$15 TRILLION + and counting  is VERY remarkable. 

Progress?  Only if you consider crushing debt and high unemployment as progress.

"You’re here because you know that we stand at a fundamental crossroads for our country. You’re here because you know that in less than a year from now, we are going to make a choice that will impact our lives for decades to come."

Oh, yes, if this guy manages to get re-elected it will impact our lives for decades, no lie.  Barack Hussein Obama will not be 'fettered' by having to worry about yet another re-election campaign, nor present himself as being for American people anymore. He will no doubt spend the next four years cramming social programs through Congress while thoroughly debilitating the military... and ruining this country with debt.

  Then she added that her husband is "very cute and he can sing, go figure." 

Oh well, that makes all the difference in a president. 

I would rather have a president who is decisive, competent, and a leader rather than a shirker.

In a previous post regarding the Obummers' Holiday travel plans to Hawaii, I wrote that since they are traveling separately - because SHE did not want to wait - the plane 'fare' was going to cost the American taxpayers $100,000.

Oh, but that is apparently just a drop in the bucket, the tip of the iceberg.

According to The Hawaiian Reporter, which obtained more specifics about the executive expenditures, the total cost (based on what is known) for the 17-day vacation round-trip vacation to Hawaii for the President, his family and staff has climbed to more than $4 million.
