Justice Done!

Former Marine Jose Nazario was acquitted by a civilian jury of manslaughter and related charges. (He left the Marine Corps in 2005 and was no longer subject to military law when the investigation began in 2006.)

Nazario, 28, went on trial in Riverside, California for killing two insurgent prisoners in Fallujah, Iraq, encouraging two subordinates to execute two other prisoners, and unlawfully using his rifle during the incident.
UNLAWFULLY USING HIS RIFLE ...
DURING THE INCIDENT ?

The Incident was the 2004 Battle of Fallujah!

The government acknowledges that the enemy combatants the Marines allegedly killed have never been proven to exist. Neither is there an identifiable crime scene, forensic evidence, or any missing persons report, government evidence shows.
EXCUSE ME ... NO EVIDENCE ??

This is yet another disgusting example of what happens when a Politically Correct Congressionally-influenced Pentagon establishes Rules of Engagement.

The government should not be allowed to train our men and women to do a job, then prosecute them for doing it.

Our Marines, soldiers, sailors and airmen should never have to second guess the ramifications of their actions on the field of battle.

Hopefully, Jose Nazario will be reinstated as an officer with the Riverside Police Department. He was fired a year ago when he was arrested.

Fallen Hero: Sgt Michael Ferschke

Men such as Sgt. Michael Ferschke, USMC, live their lives with courage and honor. When they join the ranks of The Fallen, it is an immeasurable loss.

A Youtube video of Sgt. Ferschke's funeral procession was removed by his family because of derogatory comments.

Read the story at LC0311 crunchie I.M.H.

Requiescat In Pace, Marine

And to the ignorant lost souls who posted those derogatory comments, may you rot in whatever hellish place you believe in.

Oh, Really?

“You need to celebrate what [Sen. Obama] represents even if you don’t vote for him,” Mrs. Barack Hussein Obama says.

So what does this guy represent?

Experience? No.

Patriotism?
No.
Supporting the troops? No.

Change? Like choosing for his running mate a 36-year Washington insider whose son (Hunter Biden) is a professional lobbyist?

"If you don't have ideas to run on, you run on old tactics."
-Barack Obama, Aug 30th

Old tactics like this string of Obama campaign promises:
"Take away tax breaks from companies that ship jobs overseas."
If the 'greenies' had not forced environmental regulations, many companies might not have to use foreign labor. And then there are the unions. Don't get me started.

"Give 95 percent of you a tax break."
If you cut all these taxes, where will you get the money to pay for your social programs? Oh, I know. You'll do what Bubba did. Cut the military in half.

"We are going to finally fix this health care system."
Nobody I know, including my sister the nurse, wants the changes you would make to our health care system.

"We are going to make sure every child gets a world-class education," adding that teachers would be paid higher salaries.
What do you mean by "world-class" education? More liberals teaching their own politically biased agenda? Adding the study of religion, particularly Islam, to the public school curriculum? Would incompetent teachers also get raises?

"We are going to gain the respect from people around the world."
You obviously come from the Bubba Clinton School of Foreign Policy whose philosophy is based on the misguided idea that the world loves you so much, you can merely talk your way into and/or out of everything.

"I will end this war in Iraq."
Ending the war is so much more important than winning the war.

John Winnick II, USMC

All charges against USMC Sgt John Winnick II have been dismissed with prejudice.

Never heard of him?

The anti-military MSM was surprisingly quiet about this.

Sgt John Winnick II is a Marine sniper who had been charged with two counts of voluntary manslaughter for performing ... during combat ops ... the job he was trained and sent to Iraq to do ... on one of his four deployments.

The story can be found here.

Semper Fi, Sergeant.

Barky Obummer's True Colors

NOTE: This is NOT about RACE.
And I shouldn't have to say that, but I do.

Presidential candidate ... not President ... Barack Hussein Obama has again shown his true colors and they are not red, white and blue.
In the recent brouhaha -hahaha- over his Obamessiah's canceled visit to wounded American troops at Landstuhl Military Hospital in Germany, it has been noted that the Pentagon's policy does not allow military facilities to be used as a campaign backdrop.

That means no campaign staffers and no campaign photographers.

Which means no photo opportunities, except that by military photographers.

And apparently it means no Barack Hussein Obama.

Robert Gibbs, Obummer campaign spokesman, told reporters Barky had planned for weeks to visit Landstuhl and had would have left most staff and all the reporters behind to avoid
appearances of a campaign event (stunt), and that Obummer

"decided out of respect for these servicemen and women that it would be inappropriate to make a stop to visit troops at a U.S. military facility as part of a trip funded by the campaign."
Meanwhile, at the Pentagon, spokesman Bryan Whitman said:
"The Pentagon certainly did not tell the senator he could not visit Landstuhl."
So Barky could have visited American men and women wounded in the service of their country, but chose not to do so.

Because it would have been seen as a campaign event (stunt).

Of course it would have been a campaign event (stunt).

When has Barky visited the troops anywhere at any other time?
Once in 2006 (2-day CODEL trip to Iraq).

How about about Walter Reed or Bethesda military Hospitals?
Ummm, never?

This entire Euroblitztrip is nothing but a campaign event (stunt).

So how did the Obamessiah use that suddenly available time?

He went shopping.

And now the O-Campaign is citing (blaming) the Pentagon in a pathetic effort to spin rightly-deserved backlash away from the Obamessiah.

Note to anyone who would be Commander-in-Chief:
It is never inappropriate to visit our military men and women, wounded or otherwise.

Barky Obummer's Tour de Farce

Barack Hussein Obama, in an effort to bolster, i.e. create, his so-called foreign policy credentials has taken a Congressional, i.e. campaign, trip to the Middle East and Europe.

Noteworthy stops on his schedule, i.e. agenda, included meeting the troops in Afghanistan, Iraq and Germany. The German stops included visiting wounded troops at the US military hospital in Landstuhl.

He will not visit Landstuhl Regional Medical Center after all.
And why not?

Version #One:

The Democratic presidential candidate thought it would be inappropriate on a campaign-funded journey.

Version #Two:

The Democratic presidential candidate ran short of time; priorities were set; less-useful stops were eliminated.
"The message here is that thousands of screaming German fans at the Tiergarten take precedence over visiting Americans serving their country at Ramstein and Landstuhl. Maybe one of the networks following Obama could interview a few of the soldiers about how they perceive that set of priorities from Obama." - Ed Morrissey
Note to the Junior Senator from Illinois:

It is NEVER inappropriate to visit our military men and women, wounded or otherwise.

It is ALWAYS reprehensible for someone who wants to be Commander in Chief of our military to place foreign nationals ahead of American men and women serving their country in uniform.
